Writing real content

Pick one reader

Every post lands harder when you have a single person in mind. Write to them. Drop the disclaimers, drop the corporate hedge phrasing, drop the "we believe that". Just say the thing.

Length follows the idea

Some posts are 200 words because the idea is 200 words. Forcing it to 1,500 dilutes it. Other posts genuinely need 2,000 words to walk through a thing carefully. Trust the shape of the thought, not the SEO advice.

Structure for skim and read

Most readers skim. A few read carefully. Both should leave with the point. Use:

  • A clear opening line that states the takeaway
  • Subheadings that work as a table of contents
  • One or two short examples for anyone who wants the weight

Publish before it is perfect

You will want to keep editing. Stop. Publish. The next post benefits more from "this one is live" than from another round of polish on this one.
